You’ll work across a variety of clients in different industries, collaborating with multiple Bridewell teams. Your primary focus is supporting customers in maximising their investment in Microsoft Purview and associated Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies. You will advise on, design, and implement end-to-end data governance, compliance, and risk management solutions. Responsibilities include delivering and optimising Microsoft Purview capabilities across Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, Data Lifecycle Management, data discovery, classification, and regulatory compliance. Specific tasks may include: Designing and deploying Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms to meet governance and compliance objectives. Assessing customer environments and requirements to deliver tailored Purview configurations, policies, and controls. Supporting and designing deployments of Purview features such as eDiscovery, Communication Compliance, Information Barriers, and Data Classification. Advising on and implementing best practices for Insider Risk Management and regulatory compliance using Purview tools. Working with C-level stakeholders and information governance teams to align technical solutions with business policies and regulatory requirements. Integrating Purview with wider Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and Azure infrastructure. Creating and maintaining technical documentation such as configuration documents and low-level designs. Liaising with customers and teams to ensure alignment of security strategies with business goals. Presenting findings and recommendations to customer technical teams and decision makers. Providing ongoing support and advisory to optimise clients’ compliance posture through continuous improvements. Supporting the wider Bridewell team, including Managed Security Services, with customer-facing and internal tasks. You will have experience in Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. Deep understanding of Purview features, including Information Protection, eDiscovery & Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle Management & Records Management. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and Azure platform integrations. Experience designing or auditing enterprise data governance and compliance controls. Strong documentation skills, including low-level designs, deployment guides, and client-facing summaries. Ability to present findings and technical designs to clients and stakeholders clearly. A passion for problem-solving, collaboration, and creating innovative solutions. Excellent time management with multiple deadlines and priorities. Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work independently or in a team. Nice-to-have Familiarity with broader Microsoft security tools (Defender suite). Knowledge of security solutions in AWS and/or GCP. Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or BASH). Knowledge of industry frameworks and benchmarks (e.g., CIS, MITRE). Experience in a Security Operations Centre. Experience delivering customer-facing presentations to technical senior stakeholders. Industry-recognised certifications (Microsoft, SANS, ISC2, etc.).
