All new welders, regardless of prior experience, begin in our training department. Here, youll receive hands-on, on-the-job training, producing real parts that contribute to our final product. This isnt just a class its an opportunity to gain practical skills while earning a paycheck. Upon successfully passing a weld test, youll advance to a different department with a wage increase.
Weld Trainee Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in on-the-job training to learn welding techniques and safety protocols.
Produce parts and contribute to daily production goals.
Follow instructions from the Weld Training Supervisor to prepare for and pass a weld test.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Weld Trainee Qualifications and Requirements
Willingness to learn the welding trade.
Ability to work Monday-Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Willingness to work optional overtime as needed.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
