Overview
A close knit and loving family in Dallas, TX is looking to hire a long-term career nanny. This is a live-in position, but the family is open to live-out for candidates already local to Dallas, who have the flexibility to travel with the family throughout the year. The children are 3.5 years old, and 1-year-old, and they are planning on continuing to grow their family. The general schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with the flexibility for date nights, occasional weekends, and longer hours when travelling. The family is very close with their extended family and are looking to find a nanny who can be with their family long-term, and then ideally work with the father’s sibling once they have a family as well. They are looking for a career nanny who values family connection, and can stay with their family for years and years to come. They are open to relocating the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Overall care of the children, including feeding, changing, bathing, creating age-appropriate learning/play, engaging and playing with the children, etc
Plan and execute developmentally rich days, manage schedules/meals/gear.
Cook for the children, open to cooking for the family 2-3 days per week is a hige plus
Mom is a stay-at-home mom, collaborate with her on the daily events, and work as a team with both parents
Travel with the family, about 8 trips per year, domestic and international
Helping with nap routines and sleep schedules
Help with bath-time and bedtime when needed.
Light child-related housekeeping, organizing, and keeping child areas tidy, helping with bottles and sterilization, etc

Requirements
Must drive confidently and coordinate logistics with parents, a car can be provided
Valid Passport and travel ready
Legal to work in the US
Has experience with infants and toddlers
Knowledgeable in milestones and child development
CPR and First Aid Certified, or willing to certify before employment
US Passport, Green Card, or EAC
Salary and Benefits
Hourly rate depends on experience, range starts at $28-$45+/hr
Standard benefits of 2 weeks’ vacation, sick days, and holidays offered
