Who We Are We are a warm, active family of six living in Dallas, Texas, with four children ages 5, 7, 9, and 11. All children attend school during the day and are engaged in a variety of after-school activities, including sports, arts, and clubs. Our home is lively, with plenty of movement, schedules to coordinate, and opportunities for learning and play.

Mom is a certified conscious parenting coach who stays home with the children, while Dad works as an executive and travels frequently. We follow gentle parenting principles with Montessori influence, encouraging natural consequences, curiosity, and independence.

We are seeking a nurturing, proactive Nanny & Family Assistant who can support our children's well-being, bring playful and positive energy to the after-school hours, and help keep the household flow organized. This role is ideal for someone who values collaboration and partnership, as you would work closely alongside the mother of the household.

Children are the primary focus, with after-school engagement, homework support, and activities coordination at the center of the role

You are proactive, reliable, and able to anticipate the needs of both the kids and the household. You take initiative, are coachable, and can solve problems independently while supporting the family's routines and structure.

Proactive problem solver who can anticipate needs and manage after-school routines without constant direction

Key Responsibilities

Childcare & Family Support (Primary Focus)

After-school pickup/transport (3:00–7:30 PM weekdays)

Homework assistance (grades 2, 4, 6)

Active play: sports, pool, backyard, playground

Occasional overnight care when parents travel

Weekend and evening support for activities or events as needed

Engage children in helping maintain household order (toy cleanups, sports gear)

Prep backpacks, clothing, and snacks for school and activities

Meal Support

Prepare light, healthy meals/snacks for children (protein-focused, vegetables, simple dinners)

Batch-cook or prep school lunches or family dinners when needed

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization

Household Organization & Errands

Maintain household order alongside children (toy sorting, common areas, small chores)

Grocery/pharmacy runs and other errands as requested

Assist with household schedules, reminders, and calendars (2–3 times/year)

Support seasonal transitions or small projects as needed

Administrative & Tech Support

Manage digital calendars, reminders, and iPads

Assist with coordination of school events, activities, or family appointments
