The Opportunity **

We are seeking a highly motivated Treasury Governance and Controls Manager to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of governance frameworks, internal controls, and risk management practices within the Treasury function. The position is critical for maintaining adherence to regulations, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing control effectiveness.

What you'll Do **

Governance & Frameworks

Develop and maintain treasury governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Ensure alignment with corporate risk management, compliance, and audit standards.

Lead periodic reviews and updates of treasury policies and documentation.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

Design and implement robust internal controls over treasury processes (e.g., cash management, FX, investments, intercompany funding).

Conduct risk assessments and control testing to identify gaps and recommend remediation.

Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audits related to treasury.

Process Optimization

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within treasury operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounting, Tax, Legal, IT) to streamline workflows and ensure end-to-end process integrity.

Leverage automation and digital tools to reduce manual processes and improve reporting capabilities.

Compliance & Audit Readiness

Ensure treasury activities align with internal policies, SOX requirements, and external regulations.

Prepare and support internal and external audits, including documentation, walkthroughs, and remediation tracking.

Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on treasury operations.

Partner Engagement

Act as a trusted advisor to senior finance leadership on treasury governance and risk matters.

Provide training and guidance to treasury and finance teams on control standards and policy compliance.

Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

What you need to succeed **

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA, CTP, or similar certification preferred.

7+ years of experience in treasury, internal controls, audit, or risk management within a corporate or financial services environment.

Strong knowledge of treasury operations, financial instruments, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, COSO).

Leadership in cross-functional projects, such as process optimization or system upgrades, using tools like Lean Six Sigma or BPM frameworks.

Proven experience designing and implementing internal controls and governance frameworks.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across levels and functions.

Proficiency in treasury systems (e.g., Kyriba, SAP) and data analytics or visualization tools is a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $89,600 -- $184,900 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
