Job Description:
Advanced Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and enhance pharmacy operations;
Design and develop predictive models using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to forecast future trends and patterns in prescription drug usage, operational metrics, pharmacy operations, drug price, and cusmoter outcomes;
Continuously monitor the performance of predictive models in production, making adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy and relevance. Advanced Report: Create report templates that answer multiple related questions as well as reports with linked content, drilldown, and nested parameters formatted in such a way that leads the user through the report in a well-organized, easy to understand fashion;
Create autmoated/ self-service report to allow analytic customers to request and modify their customized report;
Collaborating with corporate and region resources to design, create, test, and implement analytic tools such as databases, reports, web applications, and dashboards that support enterprise/region needs to improve data collection and reporting strategies to minimize duplication, and redundancy. Cloud Service and automation: Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow and integration from various sources;
Develop scalable data storage solutions using cloud technologies to handle large volumes of pharmacy data and support advanced analytics; Implement robust security measures and compliance protocols to protect sensitive pharmacy data stored in the cloud. Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect, clean, and analyze pharmacy data, including prescription records, patient data, and drug information. Descriptive Report Generation: Generate reports to communicate key insights to pharmacy staff, management, and other departments. Ad-hoc query in SQL: including basic selects, joins, use of Where clause, and simple functions including Trunc, Sum, Min, Max, Avg, and Concat Quality Assurance: Implement and perform regular quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity for area in charge;
Lead initiatives to enhance data quality processes and train team members on best practices. Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of pharmacy operations; Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate performance metrics and findings to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights. Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards by monitoring data accuracy and integrity.Prepare and submit detailed reports to regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines. Project Management: Lead and manage all pharmacy data analysis projects in RFP related area, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results; Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure that project tasks are completed on time;
Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and report on progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements, ensuring that data projects align with business needs and objectives; Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments. Mentorship and Training: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for junior analysts to enhance their technical skills and analytical capabilities. Providing consultation, data analysis, and project management for clinical and business stakeholders across the organization. Document: Document work and projects per enterprise-wide standards such as reports, project tracking, databases.
This is a hybrid position requiring in-person presence three times per month. Position may telecommute within reasonable commuting distance of Murray, UT.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of SQL, including complex joins, union, window function, CTE, pivoting, recursive queries, string manipulation, external query filter, and query optimization. Knowledge of data architecture, including database designing, data modeling, data pipeline, and standardizing data structures. Knowledge of descriptive and predictive data analysis. Knowledge of data visualizations including charts, workbook, and dashboard. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Automation. Knowledge of scaled agile teams (SAFe) product and project management. Knowledge of Power Automate or equivalent automation tool. Knowledge of processing PHI and PII data. Knowledge of pharmacy benefit management (PBM), including request for pricing (RFP), rebate, Medi-Spans therapeutic catgory and MONY codes, drug alternative, and disruptions.
