During initial license training, total compensation ranging from $159,000.00 to $182,000.00 annually (depending on experience and past license status), including a 15% annual incentive bonus. Additional bonuses totaling $10,000 through training milestones, alongside a comprehensive benefits package and a 401k with employer matching. After earning SRO license, total compensation increases to approximately $191,000.00 annually, including a 15% bonus and eligibility for extended hours pay at 1.5 times the base salary during mandated operational shifts.

Following completion of the qualification, candidates will be fully licensed by the NRC to supervise reactor control room operations. Complete Fundamentals Phase, Simulator Certification, acquire SRO status, and attain NRC SRO License (80%) Dedicate time for studies and field experience to achieve licensed status (10%) Engage in project work, outage assignments, or other duties as assigned to support site operations (10%) Job Summary Provide direct oversight of Constellation’s Nuclear Power Generating Station operations, including guiding Reactor Operators in controlling plant operations and Equipment Operators in executing field operations while adhering to procedures. Job Responsibilities Authorize maintenance and testing activities to maintain equipment status. Implement Emergency Operating Procedures and lead necessary procedural steps to stabilize the plant in emergency conditions. Evaluate and respond to internal and external issues, findings, and requests. Oversee special projects as determined by the Operations Director/Operations Managers. Create, revise, and review Emergency Operating and Abnormal Operating Procedures for safe and efficient nuclear generating plant operations. Review design and license changes for procedural impact, perform 10CFR50.59 applicability reviews, conduct Station Qualified Reviewer (SQR) reviews, and support outages and special projects. Analyze system documentation, including P&ID and design descriptions. Review operability for systems under off-normal conditions. Assist in developing refueling sequences and ensure systems support shutdown and refueling operations. Direct operating shift personnel in executing plant duties, including standing by on rotating 12-hour shifts, coordinating, and overseeing the operation of nuclear power plant systems. Shift work, continuous training with periodic examinations, respirator qualification, and maintaining qualification as a member of the plant Fire Brigade are essential requirements for this position. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Pass the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST) pre-employment tests Successfully complete a FLS Leadership Assessment Meet or exceed

one

of the following: 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility (PWR to PWR or BWR to BWR is comparable; PWR to BWR or BWR to PWR is non-comparable).

OR 1.5 years or more in an equivalent role to Reactor Operator (or Supervisor) at a military reactor (e.g., Power Plant Watch Engineer, Engineering Watch Supervisor, Reactor Operator, Engineering Officer of the Watch, Propulsion Plant Watch Supervisor), with 1.5 years of experience post-qualification.

OR Bachelor’s degree (BS) or equivalent in engineering, engineering technology, or physical sciences, or a professional engineer license, alongside more than 1.5 years as a qualified non-licensed operator, supervisor, or manager in operations, engineering, outage management, maintenance, radiation protection, or chemistry at a comparable facility (BWR or PWR). Managerial or supervisory experience at non-comparable plants may be credited at a 1.5:1.0 basis (e.g., over 2.25 years required for non-comparable facilities), and 3 years for a nontraditional degree.
