The Impact You Will Make
Performs normal warehousing functions (receiving, handling, storing, issuing, and delivering customer orders). Operating narrow aisle swing-lift, forklifts, and other material handling equipment in the preparation of inbounds and outbound loads from the distribution center to all Kindeva St. Louis warehouses. Operates the company truck in the delivery of products to internal customers.
Role Responsibilities Operation of swing reach lift for narrow aisle picking that consist of but not limited to, fall protection systems with retractable tethers, and advanced visibility features to minimize risks during operation in narrow warehouse aisles. Perform production picking and staging at main warehouse site; generate/review all manual and system generated transfer orders to fulfill production demands to downstream sites. Perform responsibilities of routine sample transfer across downstream sites. Receives all materials into the warehouse (checks for damages prior to receiving) and attaches identification labels to materials and marks information on boxes as required, enters receipts into logbooks/computer, as required. Stages requisitions, attaches labels, and hang tags and relocates material to designated staging area. Loads and unloads material to and from Production Centers. Maintains all inventory records on manual/computer system. Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves by hand or with a narrow aisle swing-lift, forklift and/or other material handling equipment. Lifts heavy objects by hand, dolly, forklift, manual and/or electric pallet jack. Loads materials into company vehicles and secures to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Transfers materials to/from Production and Warehouse(s) areas, as required. Operates company truck to deliver and pickup product from production and/or intra-state transportation of materials and equipment. Prepares material and finished product (including palletizing, wrapping, and banding) for shipment to customers via UPS, FedEx, common carrier, etc. together when necessary. Returns material to stock and makes appropriate inventory entries. Performs cycle counts of inventory, as required. Have company vehicle serviced as needed. Deliver materials to all Kindeva Saint Louis facilities with company truck or van. Perform appropriate housekeeping duties. Other duties as assigned. Participate in process improvement activities and D365 barcode scanning. Basic Qualifications
High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or associate degree is required. Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training as a material handler preferred. Must have a valid Driver's License and Missouri Class E, Illinois Class C or higher. Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening and job fitness physical. Must be able to pass and maintain controlled substance clearance once employed.
