ASAP Job Overview Oak Park family with four school-aged children is seeking a long-term Nanny Manager. The ideal candidate is kind yet firm, able to command respect from children while maintaining a warm and caring approach. The family is looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and confident in both childcare and household management. Responsibilities
Morning care: get children ready for school, serve breakfast, and handle drop-offs. Afternoon care: pick up from school, drive to activities, supervise homework, and provide snacks. Family meal prep: chop and prep vegetables, proteins, and freezer meals (highly desirable). Household management:
Laundry and children's bedding changes Organize children's spaces Tidy kitchen, fill/empty dishwasher Pack lunches, run errands, and maintain household organization
Childcare support: reading, helping with school projects and homework, after-school play. Occasional evening and weekend babysitting hours offered. Requirements
Prior nanny or nanny manager experience. Strong yet kind presence with children-able to set boundaries and maintain structure. Comfortable with parents occasionally working from home. Flexible, reliable, punctual and organized. Must be current on Flu and Tdap vaccines. Comfortable with stairs. Safe, responsible driver with a clean driving record (family car provided).
