is seeking a motivated and experienced
Warehouse Operations Manager
to lead our distribution operation at our branch in Birmingham, AL.
Reason for Opening:
Internal promotion of incumbent.
Team Size:
You will lead a team of about 20 total consisting of warehouse associates (internally, we call them operations specialists), CDL delivery drivers, supervisors/leads, and tint specialists who mix customer paint/stain/lacquer orders.
Location:
4250 Golf Acres Dr, Charlotte, NC 28208
Schedule:
Monday-Friday approximately 7:00am-5:00pm CT. Flexibility will be important as some days will start earlier, and end later as needed.
Permanent Role:
This is a direct hire to Würth Wood Group without the use of any third parties/agencies.
Salary:
$70k-$80k annual base depending on experience with the potential to earn $5k per quarter based on labor control and quality KPIs. No overtime pay for salaried employees.

Hands-On Leadership Only:
We need someone willing to get their hands dirty who will be actively involved on the front lines of the operation in every department from inbound, to outbound, and even our color lab where our tint specialist prepares paint and stain orders to customer specifications.
WMS/ERP:
This branch utilizes SAP software and RF scanners for shipping/receiving/inventory functions.
Requirements:
minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations management, proven ability to lead and develop warehouse and CDL delivery personnel through hands-on leadership, strong background in full-spectrum inbound and outbound operations including receiving, checking in materials, stockkeeping, inventory management, picking/packing, palletizing, and shipping, demonstrated success in driving process improvements and operational efficiency, WMS and/or ERP system proficiency, experience developing and enforcing SOPs, knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance, ability to coordinate and schedule basic facility maintenance (electricians, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, waste management), strong organizational and communication skills, hands-on experience with sit-down propane forklifts, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
