KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for Human Resources VP near Pleasanton, Ca.

A Brief Overview Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of HR is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources team, its practices, and operations to meet the needs and enable the strategic direction of the company. The Head of HR will be responsible for providing leadership and establishing an environment that fosters the company's Vision, Mission and C-I-Care values. The Head of HR develops the Talent and Workforce strategy and provides strategic leadership, building upon the current people programs and driving the transformation of the People Experience for a workforce of 1,300. The Transformation will include identification of the people (prospective and existing) needs of the organization and delivery of solutions through employee experience design, succession planning, recruitment and onboarding, talent and leadership development, organizational and performance management, learning, and total rewards programs.

What you will do - Set the strategic vision for talent and workforce as a part of the Executive Leadership Team. - Design and execute Strategy in alignment with overall business strategy and integrated enterprise People, Performance and Talent objectives

- Provide leadership in the design and implementation of a responsive organizational structure to meet long-term business needs

- Lead the change within the People organization to create a leading class function, strengthening business partnering capability to become a true trusted business advisor - Develop metrics to identify key workforce issues and trends; develop proactive recommendations and long-term strategies accordingly.

- Enable, manage and continuously align the day-to-day priorities across the Human Resources function, to ensure the function is delivering services that meet the needs of patients, people and business:

- Provider leadership and oversight to ensure compliance with federal and state law as well as accreditation requirements

- Provide leadership in the development of organizational and people strategies and guide critical decision making; - Sponsor and lead high profile people-related changes across the organization, while ensuring that all people initiatives play their part in delivering the overall talent agenda; - Manage the bottom line within the context of strategic priorities. Manage overall headcount-related costs across the organization, and drive operational excellence within the People function to deliver at the right cost for the business;

- Lead, manage, and coach teams of people and talent professionals, developing top talent and creating an attractive proposition for both employees and prospects; - Partner with the President and Compensation Committee to manage executive compensation and benefits; - Partner with the President and the Executive Leadership team to plan and manage talent acquisition and retention, promotions, compensation and benefits strategy, succession planning and career development. - Coach and advise the Leaders and managers on strategic and complex employee issues, and provide proactive solutions and alternatives that are pragmatic.

Job Requirements

Education Qualifications - Master's Degree Required - Prior experience as Head of Human Resources or similar senior HR position Required - 7+ years to 10 years of related HR experience Required - Healthcare industry experience Required - Experience working in a union environment Required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Broad technical HR knowledge from federal and state employment legislation to leading practices across the talent lifecycle, employee experience, employee engagement, and organization change; - Strong business acumen with demonstrated understanding of business strategy;

- Ability to build deep and influential business partnerships throughout the organization by demonstrating an understanding of business fundamentals and decision-making processes; - Ability to take an enterprise view and play a broader role in the Executive Leadership Team, while mainstreaming people considerations into strategy and discussions;

- Strong analytical abilities to illustrate the impact of People Experience on the organization, leveraging available data to ensure that strategic initiatives are driven by facts; - Demonstrated success in championing change and driving Transformation programs to successful completion; - Ability to embrace change and views challenges as business opportunities; - Demonstrated success working in a complex organization across functions, regions, cultures, and levels; - Demonstrated success in people management and development;

- Ability to challenge the status quo - Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and digital HR tools.

Licenses and Certifications - SPHR - Sr. Professional Human Resource Certification required .

Compensation depends on experience but is typically 110-145/hr.
