A highly reputable top-tier Atlanta law firm, is seeking a talented Commercial General Litigation Associate (5th 6th year) to join their dynamic Atlanta office and litigation team supporting several partners and the opportunity to move into early partnership track. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven attorney to work on complex, high-stakes litigation matters while advancing their career in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of litigation matters from case inception through resolution. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Handle discovery, including depositions, document review, and trial preparation. Appear in court for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and provide practical legal advice to clients. Conduct client interviews, gather facts, and prepare witnesses for depositions and trial testimony. Maintain strong client communication, offering timely updates and clear guidance. Contribute to business development initiatives, including client relationship management and networking.
Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice in Georgia and in good standing. 5 6 years of experience in commercial/general litigation. Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
