In this role, you will:

The Head of GPL Specialized Industries Healthcare, SIHC, our for-profit Healthcare coverage team will lead and develop a national team of managers and individual contributors responsible for a comprehensive strategy across the U.S. client needs with some international opportunities.

Provide vision and set direction for multiple high impact initiatives to achieve long-term strategic objectives that impact organization and management across functions

Provide subject matter expertise to peers and leaders to develop, retain, and grow highly complex and strategic client relationships

Lead a national team of treasury sales professionals covering for profit healthcare sector clients and prospects

Position business for success to retain and grow leading share around the dramatic changes impacting healthcare

Develop, implement & monitor performance metrics to ensure the quality and efficiency in implementing the initiatives. These are complex clients with sophisticated decision makers in Treasury Management

Ensure that the initiatives maximize impact and effectiveness while meeting financial targets

Develop and execute the strategy to build scalable processes that will improve the client experience, operational control and efficiency

Work closely with business and functional partners to influence business decisions

Proactively lead the people agenda including resource planning, talent management, professional skills development, performance management & diversity

Establish and maintain a profile as a leader both inside and outside of the firm

The successful manager will be a demonstrated leader with a proactive, hands-on management approach and strong operational skills

Monitors staff performance, provides appropriate coaching, recognition and feedback

Participates in partner meetings and communicates key Treasury Management messages in a timely and accurate manner

Protects the firm by applying sound risk management protocols and adhering to regulatory requirements

Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomes

Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Treasury Management Sales functional area

Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including peers and senior leadership, represent the company externally, and strategically lead all levels across the enterprise, to resolve internal escalations, which require the most senior leaders, including complex and significant client issues, while achieving Wells Fargo's business objectives

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

5+ years of sales leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build, direct and manage a sales/relationship management team of national size and scope

Excellent understanding of the Payments process and associated market practices with the ability to think strategically about how to create business led solutions

Expert banking and payments experience within healthcare, higher-education, and cultural/service NFP industries. Deep understanding of the Healthcare ecosystems and interconnectedness

Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

Strong sense of prioritization & ability to execute against deliverables. Able to take personal accountability for projects & issue resolution

Analytic problem solver with excellent written and verbal communications skills

Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology & other key stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization

Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders to ensure decisions are well thought out and can be implemented

Financial and budgeting skills

Highly motivated, independent worker within a team-oriented culture and focus on developing underrepresented talent

Skilled in strategic negotiations

Expert user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Job Expectations:

This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Ability to travel up to 60% of the time

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
