Responsibilities This is a remote position.

Job Summary / Purpose CommonSpirit is looking for a Director of Epic Applications. As a Director, you will act as a trusted advisor, subject-matter expert and escalation point for the system and staff through building and maintaining relationships, strategic planning and resolution of issues. You will plan roadmaps with strategic partners in the business units and Information Technology department.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within expected scope and budget as well as develop and lead strategies to improve patient safety and end user satisfaction . You will be responsible for leading a team in multiple applications and standardizing build and workflows.

You will drive long term planning and annual budgeting for both strategic and tactical investments.

The successful candidate for this role will have progressive experience in management with both staff and budget responsibilities. You will have exceptional leadership ability and the ability to communicate complex concepts to executives and working level audiences. You will have robust organizational, written and verbal communication skills, to drive delivery and a program’s vision and strategy with the right processes, communication channels and metrics in place to measure and ensure success. Experience working with complex Epic

projects, programs, and/or implementations is required. You will have a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams to success and have demonstrated experience with complex multi-stakeholder decision-making.

Creating relationships with Business Units, Engineering and Operations teams

Creating and managing relationships with Community Connect partners & regional leaders

Managing multiple teams of people

Managing application implementations

Managing Vendor relationships

Financial acumen to work with VMO, Finance and accounting teams

Decommissioning of non standard applications

Support Mission and Values

Provide innovation to business approaches, being proactive to identify new opportunities and strive for improvements, while effectively overcoming barriers impacting performance and outcomes.

Effectively execute plans and implement change, reflecting strategic agility.

Qualifications

Experience with and/or certification in Epic applications required.

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree strongly preferred)

Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams

Experience managing

senior level client relationships

Experience in Epic Implementations & transition to steady state support.

6 years of leadership experience in a Healthcare environment

Experience leading large, complex, high-visibility projects and programs
