Travel Acute Care Setting:
High-risk obstetrics, culturally diverse patient population, RNs circulate on cesarean sections. Unit Stats: 11 labor rooms, 15 beds Daily census: 15–20 Interdisciplinary support: PT, RT, interpretation, phlebotomy, social work, rapid response, pharmacy Epic charting required Free parking Experience Needed: 1 year recent L&D RN experience First-time travelers accepted Float within scope, as needed (travelers float first) Every other weekend required Certifications Required: ACLS BLS NRP Preferred Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate Key Skills Required: IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood draws, central line management Circulate for C-sections, labor management, assist with high-risk/vaginal deliveries, recover C-sections, hemorrhage management Prostaglandins, insulin drips, oxytocin, magnesium sulfate administration EFM/IUPC/Internal monitoring, OCT, NST, sterile vaginal exams, antepartum care Neonatal care: APGAR, cord samples, newborn assessment, hypoglycemia, phototherapy Postpartum care: fundus/lochia/perineum, breastfeeding support, wound care, baby-friendly protocols Pain management (epidural, PCA, sedation) Isolation precautions, telemetry, vaccine administration Compliance: Must have active CA or compact RN license—pending not accepted COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status unknown RTO must be included with submission About HonorVet Technologies
