The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while promoting patient and employee safety. Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, creating individualized care plans based on collected data. Identify teaching needs related to patient diagnoses and collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Provide timely patient information for team conferences and documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record. Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, using a positive approach to achieve patient goals and quality outcomes. Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission. Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care and safety. Guide, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel, leveraging problem-solving techniques and prioritizing effectively. Ensure personal and environmental safety in accordance with hospital and nursing policies. Contribute positively to unit functioning and participate in team-building activities. Maintain communication with managers regarding service needs and efficiently manage supplies. Assume charge responsibilities as requested and identify opportunities for professional growth. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (if applicable). Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience highly desired. Why ARMStaffing?
