Job Responsibilities:
Coordinating, directing, and serving as a resource to nursing staff to ensure delivery of quality patient care. Facilitating patient flow through effective organization and communication. Allocating nursing staff resources based on unit needs. Interpreting and clarifying hospital policies for staff and other personnel. Assisting in orientation and ongoing staff development, with input to Nurse Managers. Supporting and encouraging staff nurse participation in hospital meetings. Exercising sound judgment and decision-making in critical situations. Education & Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required). Minimum of
3 years recent nursing experience
. Certifications & Licenses:
Massachusetts RN License. BLS
(AHA) ACLS
(AHA) PALS
(AHA) Additional Requirements:
Flu vaccine
required for all new staff starting
