accepted. Job Summary The RN partners with residents and care providers to create a safe, therapeutic environment through direct and indirect care. Units
3 East:
31-bed specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia unit focused on tailored care, using verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to manage behaviors as valid communications in a home-like setting. Transitional Rehabilitation Unit:
42-bed short-term skilled nursing and rehab unit for patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, surgeries, stroke, etc. Nursing includes IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric management. 3 West:
42-bed long-term care unit providing home-like care for residents needing long-term placement. Job Requirements
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing Valid State of Maine or compact RN license Experience: 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred Skills: Medical terminology knowledge preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to cover 24/7 shifts and float between units Note:
