Overview

The Associate Director, eCommerce is responsible for leading the development and execution of our client's retail initiatives by providing investment leadership on campaign strategies and optimization, building strong relationships and establishing clear lines of communication with clients, partners, and internal collaborators.

As Associate Director of eCommerce you'll manage the investment strategy and oversee activation/optimization and reporting of client campaigns particularly as they relate to the client's Retail growth and acceleration strategy. The Associate Director must have a mastery of eCommerce/retail space (Paid Search/Sponsored Product Listings/Display), as well as marketplace data on/off site. Reporting to the SVP, Investment Marketplace, this individual plays a key role in shaping the client's retail strategies and advancing media innovation.

The ideal candidate must have strong team management, and experience in pharma as well as digital and retail/eCommerce media experience. Our eCommerce team works across a diverse range of sectors on some of the largest and most dynamic clients within the agency.

Responsibilities

Maintain strong grasp of client business objectives and their impact on media, investment, and campaign strategies. Provide vision, direction, management and support to individuals within the team to ensure their work aligns with our mission and goals; conduct performance reviews and career path plans, provide training to direct reports as needed Be the subject matter expert and educate teams and clients of the eCommerce retail environment Work with cross-functional teams to identify eCommerce role within broader media recommendation Develop, manage, and monitor client service delivery executions, continuously evaluate and improve upon all digital media opportunities Assures quality control of all media planning and implementation Coordinate efforts across different eCommerce partners to drive optimized recommendations Motivate, lead, and manage internal teams, working collaboratively to drive programs that meet our clients' performance and business objectives Foster strong relationships with internal teams and client groups Develop action plans to achieve and measure media success, including establishing metrics, strategies for measurement and optimization. Expertise in the media marketplace, partner landscape, and industry trends. Solid understanding of partnership opportunities, deal structures, and contractual terms. Owns tactical plan presentations, rate negotiations, and POV development across all media opportunities. Pushes for continuous improvement in planning, execution, and client deliverables. Keeps senior management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business Qualifications

5+ years of account management experience in e-commerce with increasing levels of responsibility within an agency or media company, including client-facing responsibilities 3+ years of experience in interactive marketing or business consulting using data and information to drive specific targeting and marketing recommendations 1-2+ years of team management experience Experience in pharma media across diverse conditions, disease states, and audiences (DTC, HCP) Experience with DoorDash, Uber Eats, Reserve Bar, Walmart Connect, Epsilon Retail Proficiency in investment tools such as Prisma/Media Ocean, CM, Double Verify as well as Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel and PowerPoint. Deep understanding of the marketing process and media's strategic role, including the function of various channels. Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide insights and optimization recommendations Understanding of standard processes for applying eCommerce media for brand communication Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strategic approach. Proven experience in public speaking and presentation skills, simplifying complex ideas.

Compensation Range: $105,165.00 - $165,485.00 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
