Overview
As an enrollment events manager, you will work closely with admission events leadership to develop and implement pre-college programs that effectively reach the target audience, increase program awareness, and attract quality enrollments. You will regularly meet with leadership to provide and receive updates on Spotlight Days, SCAD Days, pre-college programs, admission signature events, and other initiatives, as well as to suggest event ideas, concepts, and dcor models. Among other duties, you will collaborate on print and online materials to ensure these initiatives are presented clearly and effectively. You will also help create marketing materials and maps, distribute them, and keep program information on the university website up to date. Likewise, you will order and organize all collateral materials. Responsibilities Prepare reports, analyses, and statistical summaries on the programs and all related activities, including enrollment, facility utilization, and student demographics. Coordinate and attend meetings for events to identify program needs such as classroom spaces, physical resources, transportation, and supplies. Negotiate contracts with vendors within the budget to secure these program needs, and conduct annual studies on needs and activities to assess goals, policies, and procedures. Share program policies, procedures, and mission details with staff, and develop guest and RSVP lists for specific events. Serve as the communications liaison to coordinate with the creative direction team on requests. Coordinate with internal teams (admission, transportation, security, housekeeping, catering, physical resources) to address student needs. Assist in hiring and training instructors, assistants, and interns for the pre-college program and student ambassador programs. Help manage the entire application process for the pre-college program to meet enrollment goals and support budget development. Assist with special initiatives such as the Hometown Hero program and the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, tracking reports and preparing evaluations. Assist with admission counseling, interviews, recruitment, and LiveAgent shift coverage. Participate in evening and weekend events or travel to other SCAD locations for events and initiatives as needed. Interact with guests, hosts, and staff at events to ensure consistency in all efforts and build lasting professional relationships with faculty, staff, and administrators in high school and extracurricular art programs.
