An industry-leading global organization is seeking a skilled and motivated
SAP Basis Administrator
to support and manage its evolving SAP landscape. This individual will work cross-functionally with infrastructure, networking, and technical teams to ensure the seamless operation, integration, and enhancement of various SAP systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on expertise in SAP system administration and will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s technical delivery model by driving agility, scalability, and best practices within the SAP ecosystem. This position offers the opportunity to lead and influence a high-impact SAP environment—including S/4HANA, BTP solutions, CPI, Datasphere, and other modern platforms—while supporting transformation initiatives across business functions. Location
Primarily onsite in
San Diego, CA
or
Memphis, TN
(San Diego preferred). This is not a fully remote role and will require regular in-office presence. Compensation

Lead the configuration, deployment, and management of SAP systems including S/4HANA, BTP services, CPI, and Datasphere. Oversee technical architecture and integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems, including third-party dependencies. Coordinate SAP system maintenance activities with internal stakeholders and external providers (such as SAP ECS within RISE with SAP framework). Monitor and optimize system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement best-practice solutions for HANA DB and other SAP platforms. Support the planning and execution of SAP upgrades, migrations, and version enhancements. Manage BTP landscape and security, including Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and maintenance. Design scalable infrastructure solutions aligned with future business needs and technical advancements. Drive continuous improvements across SAP system operations, development pipelines, and user experience. Provide on-call support during assigned rotations, including nights and weekends as needed. Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 5–7 years of hands-on SAP Basis Administration experience. Involved in at least two SAP implementation, upgrade, or migration projects; at least one must include experience with RISE with SAP and coordination with SAP ECS. Proficiency with SAP system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Solid understanding of SAP architecture, best practices, and cloud environments (including hyperscalers). Experience managing BTP environments and SAP SaaS solutions. Certifications (Preferred)
Strong analytical mindset with effective problem-solving skills. Ability to clearly communicate technical topics to business stakeholders. Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting. Enthusiastic about staying current with emerging technologies and trends in SAP and enterprise IT. About Sayva Solutions
