You will plan, develop, organize, and implement the day-to-day functions of the nursing department. You will oversee your department budgets. You will communicate with doctors, residents, and family members about resident health. You will implement new procedures and training nurses on policies. Requirements:
Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications: Individual must have 2 years experience as a DON or an ADON in long term care. Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois in good standing. Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare). Ability to build rapport with patients and staff. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
