Kforce has a client that is seeking a Database Architect in Merrimack, NH. Pay
Base pay range: $75.00/hr - $85.00/hr. The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. This range may be modified in the future. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Responsibilities
As a Database Architect, you will work across products, business units and enterprise technology teams to partner with business leaders, architecture, and engineering to influence our data strategy and deliver foundational capabilities. Responsible for developing IWMS domain knowledge, data architecture, data blueprints, hands-on data design/modeling, data movement, integrations, and analytics-driven data architecture/decisions. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree required. 10+ years of professional technology experience with a minimum 5+ years of architecture experience in Data, Databases and Analytics; experience in Mainframe space is a plus. Experience with data management practices including data integration, data governance & security, data warehousing, data analytics, data models, metadata management and data quality. Experience in building prototypes, driving pilots and PoCs, and exploring new solutions and options. Experience with RDBMS databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake). Experience with distributed SQL databases (e.g., Cockroach, Yugabyte). Experience with low-latency distributed NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Aerospike, Redis). Experience developing application and data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure, AWS EKS, EMR, EC2, S3, etc.). Experience in Reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Experience collaborating with data engineers and data scientists on integrations, AI/ML model deployments, and pipelines. Strong understanding of architectures/patterns such as API/Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and client-server models. Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Unix Shell, Java, etc.). Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and formulate Data Strategy and Conceptual Architecture with development teams. Benefits
