$67.11 to $83.44 / hour + Benefits

— Nuclear Medicine Technologist II will assist in the organization, supervision and training activities of the technical operation.

Responsibilities
Sound understanding of anatomical positioning
Demonstrates the ability to analyze difficult situations
React properly and interact effectively with the department’s medical, technical and clerical staff
Demonstrates commitment to service excellence and problem ownership
Manages and communicates confidential patient information
Good oral and written communication skills
Assist with patient/procedure scheduling
Explains nature of exam to patients to ensure cooperation
Qualifications
One year experience in an acute care hospital is preferred , which may include clinical hours during technologist training program.
3-5 years
clinical nuclear medicine experience.
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Other: Completion of a nuclear medicine technologist training program
OR Completion of radiologic technologist training program with NMTCB or ARRT(N).
ARRT – Radiography – American Register of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
OR NMT-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Upon Hire
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider within 60 Days of hire
RHN-Radiologic Health Nuclear Medicine (Department of Public Health) (required if working in California)
