Senior Software Engineer
to join our Product Development team focused on designing and developing cutting-edge healthcare software systems.
Your Role
Deliver high-quality code on time by following coding best practices.
Willingness to learn and gain expertise in the business domain and technology stack and work with minimal guidance.
Maintain a production-first mindset focused on scale, uptime, and the ability to rapidly triage/resolve production issues.
Simplify and break down complex requirements into manageable deliverables and milestones by developing technical specifications and user stories.
Contribute to test automation and participate in peer reviews to increase product quality.
Ensure deliverables meet functional and non-functional criteria, and drive changes proactively where outcomes are misaligned.
Provide timely, helpful feedback to peers and managers.
Solicit feedback from others and seek ways to improve.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
Strong Java/J2EE object-oriented design and development skills.
Proficiency with at least one JavaScript framework (AngularJS and/or Angular preferred).
Solid understanding of microservices and REST API standards.
Strong SQL development skills (MySQL experience preferred).
Experience with Kafka is a plus.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to quality, architecture, and documentation.
Experience with design patterns and Agile methodologies is a plus.
SaaS development experience is preferred.
This position is based in Boca Raton, FL and requires a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office).
