Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Product Team

at Commure + Athelas powers the core operating system for our practices. Our product

Insights

provides staff and administrators with the tools to efficiently manage practice operations. We maintain

150+ customer-facing features , including reports, visualizations, and workflow automation tools to boost revenue. As a

Staff Product Engineer , you will scale and maintain our website infrastructure, ensuring a seamless user experience as we grow to support thousands of practices nationwide. You will help define the

technical direction

of Insights architecture, foster a culture of

continuous improvement , and enhance the

reliability, scalability, and performance

of our web applications while elevating the engineering organization. What Youll Do

Drive the technical direction

of Insights to scale for thousands of practices and millions of users

Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions

using

ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL

Improve system reliability and observability

with monitoring, logging, and alerting

Optimize performance and scalability

of web applications for a fast-growing user base

Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams

to ensure high availability and resilience

Mentor and guide engineers , fostering technical excellence and continuous learning

Lead and deliver high-impact projects

in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment

Conduct in-depth code reviews

and drive architectural improvements across the stack

Work closely with product and design teams

to build intuitive, user-friendly experiences for healthcare providers and staff

What You Have

Required

8+ years of professional software development experience

with a focus on scalable full-stack applications

Proficiency in full-stack development

with expertise in JavaScript (React/Vue), Python, and PostgreSQL

Strong architectural skills

with experience designing highly scalable, reliable, and performant web applications

Experience leading multi-month, high-impact projects

in fast-paced environments

Deep understanding of modern front-end engineering

React fundamentals, performance optimization, state management, and component-driven design

Experience with complex backend systems

including API design and database performance optimization

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills , with focus on observability

Ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence

Excellent communication skills

to present technical concepts to leadership and cross-functional teams

Preferred

Experience scaling front-end applications

in fast-growing, high-traffic environments

Frontend performance optimization expertise

and ability to diagnose React bottlenecks

Strong product intuition

with influence on UX/UI decisions

Background in data visualization

and building interactive analytics dashboards

Experience with developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines

for frontend apps

Familiarity with modern API design patterns

(GraphQL, REST, gRPC) and BFF architectures

Open-source contributions or active engineering blog

Experience in highly regulated industries

with focus on security and compliance

A passion for improving healthcare

and healthcare operations in America
