Georgia's Dream Nannies
Live Out Nanny MGR for a Family near Morningside
Georgia's Dream Nannies, Atlanta, Georgia, United States, 30383
Job Description
Dream Nannies is excited to present a warm and welcoming family seeking a dedicated full-time nanny to support their growing household. They currently have two young children, ages 3 yr and 14 months, and are expecting a new baby in April. The family is looking for someone who can become a steady presence in their home, offering both nurturing childcare and reliable household support. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays typically from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 p.m., with occasional full-day coverage until 5:00 p.m. depending on the mother's work schedule. While mom's hospital shifts vary week to week, the family values consistency, so having a nanny who arrives each morning at 7:00 a.m. provides much-needed structure and support. In rare cases, if dad is traveling and mom needs to leave early, the nanny's day may begin at 6:10 a.m.
The 3 y/o attends preschool daily from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and drop-off and pick-up are usually handled by the nanny on mom's workdays, though mom or dad may step in when available. Dad generally works out of the office and returns after 5:00 p.m., while mom's schedule varies, sometimes resulting in overtime hours for the nanny on Fridays. While the weekly flow is consistent, the family appreciates a nanny who can be flexible and proactive as each day may look slightly different depending on work schedules.
The ideal candidate will be easygoing, caring, patient, and loving, yet also hardworking and proactive with the ability to take initiative and read the room. The family appreciates someone who is supportive and communicative while also remaining productive and focused throughout the day. Primary duties include providing engaged, age-appropriate care for the children, as well as helping with light household tasks such as children's laundry, family laundry, unloading and loading the dishwasher, tidying, and organizing children's spaces. The family would love a nanny who is open to helping with errands, returns, donation drop-offs, and occasional meal prep or cooking two times per week. Additional responsibilities may include keeping household supplies stocked, taking out diaper pails, and helping with small organization projects. While housekeeping needs are light, the family is open to adjusting pay for a nanny willing to take on a bit more.
