Proven experience conducting wireless penetration tests, including vulnerability analysis and exploitation Expertise in wireless protocols such as WEP, WPA2, WPA3 Hands-on experience with rogue access point detection and wireless exploitation tools Familiarity with security frameworks like PTES, NIST, OWASP Ability to clearly document findings and communicate technical risk to both technical and executive audiences Responsibilities and Job Details
Collaborate with stakeholders to define rules of engagement, testing scope, and scheduling Identify in-scope IP ranges and wireless infrastructure for assessment Ensure all testing activities comply with legal and organizational policies Analyze wireless access points, encryption protocols, and authentication methods for vulnerabilities Simulate rogue access point and evil-twin attacks to evaluate detection and response Perform manual testing of wireless configurations and captive portals Attempt exploitation of identified vulnerabilities and demonstrate impact where authorized Document attack paths and evaluate business risks of successful intrusions Handle any sensitive data accessed during testing with high integrity and confidentiality Deliver comprehensive final reports with actionable remediation recommendations Provide root cause analysis and breakdowns of exploitation methods used during testing
