Financial Crime AML Audit Senior Consultant As a Senior Consultant in our Regulatory Compliance Financial Crime practice, you will collaborate with professionals dedicated to providing industry-leading AML and regulatory compliance practices. Your role involves assisting clients in maintaining a sound and compliant AML risk management environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) laws, internal audit processes, risk and control matrices, and operational testing. This position focuses on AML compliance independent testing and internal audit engagements across various financial institutions, including large and mid-sized banks, MSBs, fintech organizations, broker/dealers, and asset managers. Responsibilities
Develop, audit, and monitor compliance with BSA/AML requirements for financial institutions of all sizes. Execute all audit phases, including planning, process walkthroughs, test procedures, tracking artifacts, and reporting. Present audit results, findings, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations to senior management and audit committees. Build and maintain relationships with Business Lines across all three lines of defense. Qualifications
Bachelors Degree. 3+ years of experience in BSA/AML, consulting, internal audit, or compliance testing. Ability to travel up to 5% for projects. Preferred Candidates Will Demonstrate
Relevant professional certifications such as CAMS, CIA, CISA. Proficiency with AML/BSA regulatory requirements for retail banking. Understanding of banking regulations and supervisory expectations. Knowledge of statistical analytics and testing methods. Experience with top 50 banks or in professional services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior internal audit or consulting experience in financial services. Strong understanding of BSA/AML, sanctions, and regulatory environments. Additional Information
