Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Regions only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement. In the Otolaryngology department, our board-certified physicians specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and surgery of the ear, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck. This team oversees patients with loss of hearing or balance; sinus troubles; injuries to the ears, nose or throat; cancer and tumors of the head and neck; infections and deformities of the ear, nose, throat or neck; and foreign bodies in the upper respiratory tract. Responsibilities
Assist with a variety of administrative tasks in the Otolaryngology department, acting as a liaison between patients and professional staff. Interview, register, admit, update and create patients medical records. Process professional/technical fees generated by department providers accurately and timely. Perform cash handling and collection responsibilities. Provide warm, friendly, and considerate assistance to patients and families. Location

Administrative Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. Basic computer skills. One (1) year of clerical support in a healthcare setting or related experience. Preferred Qualifications:
