Overview

Energy Compliance Analyst role at California Public Utilities Commission. Base pay range: $8,766.00 - $10,973.00. Location: San Francisco County. Telework: Hybrid. Employment type: Permanent, Full Time. Responsibilities

Provide a lead role in determining compliance of electric utilities with energy procurement requirements. Conduct research and technical analyses on complex energy policy and energy market issues with moderate direction. Develop creative solutions to complex analytical problems while taking into consideration the market and policy implications. Work to develop and refine parts of a complex regulatory proceeding in a team environment. Represent the Energy Division and/or the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) in various high-profile settings. Collaborate with other state agencies and stakeholders to help achieve statewide clean energy goals. Organize and facilitate workshops and/or stakeholder meetings, present at industry conferences and prepare workshop reports, as needed. Assist Commissioners, their advisors, management and other decision-makers regarding issues in the assigned areas. Review and prepare comments on pending legislation and respond to inquiries from the public and legislative staff. Special Requirements & How to Apply
