Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health . Responsibilities Readies rooms and gear for endoscopy work. Gathers all needed tools, including endoscopes, light sources, and video monitors, and verifies that equipment functions properly. Assists doctors and nurses during procedures, handing them tools or samples as needed. Monitors patients during procedures to note any problems. After each procedure, cleans and sterilizes all gear using appropriate cleaners and equipment to kill germs. Follows strict infection control practices to prevent the spread of infection and keep patients and staff safe. Position is PRN (as needed).
