Director of Quality Assurance Department: Services Reports to: Executive Director Cornerstone Valley, Inc. is a 24-hour residential provider agency supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD/DD) and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Quality Assurance to join our leadership team. This role provides agency-wide oversight of our Quality Assurance program, ensuring regulatory compliance, organizational accountability, and the delivery of high-quality services across all residential programs.

What You’ll Do As the Director of Quality Assurance, you will:

Provide leadership and mentoring to the QA team, fostering a proactive compliance culture.

Develop, implement, and oversee Cornerstone Valley’s QA framework, policies, and monitoring systems.

Ensure organizational compliance with OARs, Medicaid requirements, and other state/federal regulations.

Lead preparation for audits, licensing reviews, and accreditation activities.

Oversee timely creation, updates, and distribution of ISP documents, Behavior Support plans, and other annual requirements.

Supervise QA Specialists and provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback.

Analyze data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement and provide reports to the Executive Director.

Collaborate with leadership to implement corrective actions and track progress.

Stay current on regulatory changes and communicate updates to leadership and staff.

Serve as a liaison with regulators, auditors, and accrediting bodies.

What We’re Looking For

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred).

Minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare quality assurance, compliance, or regulatory oversight, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Knowledge/Skills:

Expertise in Medicaid regulations, OARs, and licensing requirements for residential programs.

Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.

Proven ability to develop and manage QA systems and processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Therap, and data tracking systems.

Other Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Valid Oregon Driver’s License, acceptable driving record, and reliable insured vehicle.

Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Ability to travel regularly to Cornerstone Valley program sites.

Working Conditions

Primarily office-based with regular travel to program locations. (See CVI website for information on locations)

Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and maneuver up to 75 lbs.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
