About the Position

The company is currently seeking a skilled

Mechanical Project Manager

to oversee complex mechanical and electrical projects in commercial buildings. While the position is remote, it requires commuting in the Montgomery area where the company’s primary focus is. This is an exceptional opportunity to take ownership of impactful projects—ranging from HVAC design and upgrades to electrical system improvements and building automation system (BAS) installations.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a strong technical background, capable of managing cross-functional teams, budgets, schedules, and client relationships from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the full lifecycle of mechanical/electrical projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

Oversee the design, installation, and performance optimization of HVAC systems, electrical upgrades, and BAS.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to align goals and drive success.

Supervise field teams and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Prepare progress reports, track milestones, and maintain consistent stakeholder communication.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience managing mechanical and/or electrical projects in commercial building environments.

In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and building automation technologies.

Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, manage budgets, and meet critical deadlines.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Some travel to the Cleveland office for meetings.
