Travel Facility Details: Location: Texas Type: Outpatient Radiation Oncology, Acute Care Support Daily Census: 50–60 patients Local Rule: Not accepted (must live outside 50 miles for Allied) Return Traveler: Previous perm staff must be gone 1 year before returning as traveler Position Overview: The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist. Must be skilled in advanced radiation treatment modalities, simulation, and patient care. Key Responsibilities: Position, immobilize, and prepare patients for radiation therapy treatments Deliver treatments using advanced equipment (Varian Edge, TrueBeam, Gamma MedPlus iX, GE CT 590 RT) Perform CT simulation, tumor localization, and treatment planning Administer SRS, SBRT, IMRT, 3D, 2D, HDR, and simulation procedures Accurately maintain treatment records and documentation Monitor patients for safety, comfort, and treatment effectiveness Educate patients and families on procedures and post-treatment care Adhere to all radiation safety and compliance standards Patient Diagnoses: Brain, Head/Neck, Breast, Lung, Esophageal, Gynecological, Prostate, Bladder, Rectum, Anal Canal, Abdominal, Bone Mets, Skin, Liver, Adrenal, Biliary Requirements: ARRT Registered in Radiation Therapy (ARRT T) – required Texas Medical Board – MRT License – required BLS/CPR (AHA) – required Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy – required Previous charge experience – required Experience with ARIA, Eclipse, and advanced Varian technology preferred Altera charting experience preferred, not required Travel experience preferred About Nationwide Therapy Group
