Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: EP Tech - EP Tech Job Details: Work 4 ten-hour shifts with late stay scheduling requirements
Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in electrophysiology laboratory setting
Work with 3-4 person teams consisting of 2 technicians and 2 RNs for optimal staffing
Operate specialized equipment including Boston Scientific, BioSense Webster Carto, Medtronic, and Baylis/VersaCross systems
Use EPIC Cupid & MacLab documentation systems
Assist with procedures including A-fib & A-flutter ablations, SVT and VT ablations (RF & Cryo)
Support pacemaker & ICD implants (single, dual, biV, micra & subcutaneous) and lead extractions
Critical care/EP experience required with knowledge of critical care drip management
Experience needed with EP ablation procedures, pacemaker implant & removal
ICU/ER background preferred
Required certifications: ACLS & BLS for RNs; ARRT/RTR or RCIS for technicians
Dress code: Navy blue and black for technicians, royal blue and black for RNs
Work in high-volume environment with involvement in multiple research studies and field studies with outside physicians Facility: This 612-bed healthcare facility features a state-of-the-art electrophysiology program housed in a dedicated Heart and Vascular Tower with 3 EP labs including 2 dedicated EP labs and 1 hybrid OR. The electrophysiology department operates a high-volume program involved in numerous research studies and maintains the only Level I trauma center and children's hospital in the region.
