Overview The Operations Manager organizes, directs, coordinates and controls a range of department activities to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws as well as responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising employees' performance; rewarding, disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Prepares work schedules and monitors workload statistics; maintains appropriate staffing levels that match workload and promote patient safety, assists and leads various other committees or special projects or programs as requested, on boarding and continued development and competencies of facility operations team members and leaders as needed.

What you will do

Consistently demonstrates high level of organizational and communicative skills between Facilities Engineering and Medical Staff as related to Facilities Maintenance Work Orders and construction/renovation/maintenance projects. Responsible for environment of Riverside Regional Medical Center by assuring that it is safe and well maintained for patients, staff, visitors, contractors, subcontractors and vendors. Responds to emergencies (Utility outages, leaks, floods, system failures, etc. and inclement weather related events. Ensures patient complaints and/or concerns receive the highest priority and are responded to immediately. Lead/Oversees the development of work force plans that analyze current and projected personnel requirements, competencies and skill mix that support retention and replacement and maintain operational goals. Demonstrates consistent fiscal accountability. Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations in dealing with the contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and consultants to projects, portraying a positive image of Riverside Health System. Promotes the mission of RHS, policies and interpersonal relations. Qualifications

Education

Associates Degree, Related Field (Required) Bachelors Degree, Related Field (Preferred) Experience

5-6 years Recent relevant experience (Required) 3-4 years Supervisory experience (Required) Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, code requirements, building guidelines, and standards. Demonstrated leadership on projects providing subject matter expertise and technical directions to other. International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Facility Management Modules Licenses and Certifications

Certified Healthcare Operations Professional - DNV CHOP - B within 2 Years(Required) or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) - American Hospital Association (AHA) within 2 Years(Required) Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) - American Hospital Association (AHA) (Preferred)
