Required Position Overview
The Travel Med/Surg RN provides comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients on a general medical-surgical unit. The RN is responsible for implementing nursing interventions, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process
Provide care to a patient ratio of
1:6
Float as needed to other units within the facility
Respond to call requirements as scheduled
Maintain documentation in
MedHost EMR
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff
Ensure patient safety, privacy, and dignity
Qualifications
2+ years’ Med/Surg experience required
Certifications:
ACLS, BLS required; PALS preferred
Active NM RN license (or compact/multistate license accepted if applicable)
