Work Shift - Monday - Friday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Utility role will assist with general maintenance and special projects for the operations department. Including but not limited to: • Maintain the plant shop, warehouse, and office organization, inventory, and cleanliness • Receive deliveries at the plant with use of forklift as needed • Inspect and empty garbage cans around office and warehouse weekly and within plant monthly • Provide general maintenance and make repairs as needed • Comply with lock out tag out, hot work, confined space and other safe work practices / procedures • Keep assigned vehicle maintained and in good working condition • Change process filters as needed outside of normal PM schedule • Supporting operations when necessary and train to move into operations when needed • Assisting with other duties as needed • Turn in weekly reports on work done to Supervisor • All other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Possess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company • Good communicator, work planner with excellent worth ethics • Report to work on time or as scheduled
Working Conditions: • Will work outdoors in adverse or extreme weather conditions. • Will be required to frequently drive to other field facilities within their assigned region. • Available to attend in - person office and field meetings as needed. • Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity. • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the company
Physical Requirements: • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone • Must be available for overtime and call-outs as needed based on business necessity • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards • Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above. • Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.
