Part-Time After-School Nanny Needed for 8-Year-Old in Savannah, GA
We are a family in Savannah seeking a reliable, responsible, and caring after-school nanny for our 8-year-old child. The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, enjoys engaging with school-aged children, and can provide a safe and structured environment.
Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
Monday - Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Flexibility is appreciated for occasional late afternoons or school holidays.
Responsibilities: Picking up our child from school and transporting them home or to after-school activities. Providing a safe and nurturing environment. Supervising and assisting with homework. Engaging in age-appropriate and fun activities (e.g., outdoor play, games, crafts, reading). Preparing healthy snacks. Light tidying up of the child's areas, such as the kitchen after a snack or the play area.
Qualifications: Previous experience caring for school-aged children. Valid driver's license and a reliable, safe vehicle. Clean driving record. Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Excellent communication and time management skills. A positive, patient, and responsible demeanor. Must pass a background check.
Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
