Companion Volunteer , you’ll help change that by building an authentic, one-on-one relationship with someone who longs for connection. Note:
While this posting shows Philadelphia,
Companion Volunteer opportunities are available nationwide . After training, NALTCV will help connect you with a long-term care community close to where you live. How it Works: Training First
– Complete NALTCV’s
Volunteering in Long-Term Care
course (online, self-paced, about 3–4 hours). In-Person Visits
– Once training is complete, NALTCV will help place you at a long-term care community near where you live. Commitment
– Plan for about
1 hour per week for at least 6 months . Consistency is what makes the relationships meaningful. Your Impact: Offer comfort, friendship, and joy to someone who may otherwise feel isolated. Strengthen your own sense of purpose through meaningful connection. Join a growing movement bringing authentic relationships back to long-term care. Apply today at https://naltcv.org/new-volunteers.
