Summary:

The Warehouse Operations falls within the Materials Management department. The Materials Management department effectively and efficiently directs supply chain functions to ensure that corporate manufacturing and quality goals for manufacturing operations are met.

Materials Management department consist of managing customer order processing, materials planning, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, shipping and receiving operations.

The Materials Technician I will perform efficient warehouse operation duties to support Manufacturing operations, receive incoming material, deliver production components and supplies, transport materials, stage materials, and issue materials in Ross ERP against work orders, bin replenishment and shipping activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Pull, pick up, and deliver/transport materials for manufacturing operations to and from Building 4401 to Building 4272

Pickup WIP completed lots from building 4272 and store in building 4401

Monitor Kanban area of Bldg. 4272 to ensure optimum replenishment of materials and fax reorder to vendor or planner

Perform inventory transfers, work order issues, returns, and other related transactions using DSI scanners

Deliver materials determined by Parts List for Production such as stoppers, vials, seals, filters, and glass and transport materials to Bldg. 4272

Prepare and deliver raw materials, samples, finished product, etc. to various departments as needed ensuring proper procedure and temperature range are followed

Perform A-bin audits weekly including movement of released material from quarantine area to A-B bins

Maintain accurate inventory

Assist in performing inventory cycle counts

Receive incoming materials: perform Ross transactions, overhead stocking and chemical conversion to appropriate unit of measurement

Cross-train in all functional areas of the Warehouse and PEM operations

Provide support to all functional areas in Warehouse and PEM operations as needed

Support shipping, receiving, materials handling, deliveries, and transportation as required

Ensure cGMP training is up to date and complete

Ensure assignees adhere to ALL SOPs, Human Resource policies, Department Guidelines, OSHA/Safety practices, GAAP and cGMP

Performs accurate ERP transactions

Other duties as assigned

Education, experience, certification and licensures:

Required:

High-school education or equivalent

Preferred:

Minimum 1 years' experience in material management, including inventory control responsibilities

ERP experience
