Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our expanding team. This role involves overseeing construction projects across various locations, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining high-quality finishes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and commercial projects, as well as proficiency in using industry-standard software.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain 2-week look-ahead schedules.
Conduct regular toolbox talks to ensure team safety and communication.
Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve project deliverables.
Communicate effectively with subcontractors, project managers, and the lead superintendent.
Monitor and oversee MEP systems and utilities.
Ensure proficiency and execution in level five finishes.
Monitor the site for safety compliance, holding an OSHA 30 certification or higher.
Utilize technology effectively, demonstrating proficiency in Procore and Excel.
Essential Skills
Experience in construction management and commercial construction.
Proficiency in Procore and Excel.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Experience with level five finishes.
Ground-up experience with MEP systems.
Subcontractor management and construction supervision.
Safety management and compliance with OSHA standards.
Experience with RFIs and change orders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in luxury homes, hospitality, and resort construction.
background in commercial recreational facilities and event venue construction.
Experience with golf course construction and landscaping.
High energy and adaptability to fit well within a family-run company culture.
Work Environment
This position requires being on-site five days a week, with the project located in Philadelphia. The role is a nine-month contract-to-hire opportunity. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.20 - $65.00/hr.
