Primary Responsibilities: Employ evidence-based screening tools and diagnostic criteria to accurately diagnose mental health disorders and create thorough treatment plans. Collaborate with fellow clinicians to provide comprehensive care for shared patients. Effectively communicate with referral sources, such as physicians and educational institutions, concerning their referred patients. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications according to established protocols and guidelines; monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Maintain precise electronic medical records and ensure clinical documentation adheres to all regulatory standards. Required Qualifications: Active and unrestricted MD/DO Physician license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain one. Board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or eligible for certification. Active DEA registration. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of clinical experience in an outpatient behavioral health setting. Experience with a diverse patient demographic, spanning from children to geriatrics. Proficient with medical documentation and communication software, such as Excel, Outlook, and Athena RMS (or other EHRs). Compensation may vary based on factors like local labor markets, education, and work experience, and can increase over time based on performance. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
