Position Details

  • Shift/Schedule - Full Time Nights: 13 week seasonal contract. 3/12 hr self-scheduling shifts per week.
  • Seasonal Completion Bonus Available

Department Details

Level 3 NICU designation; Level 3 Maternal designation; NNP on-site 24/7; opportunity to cross-train to New Family Unit (Post-Partum/Well-Baby Nursery) & L&D; opportunity for RNs to be involved in improvement projects, Shared Governance, and department committees and councils. Lake Pointe is licensed for 176 beds including Medical-Surgical units, ICU, Labor & Delivery, New Family Unit, Antepartum, Neonatal Intensive Care, Surgical Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and Emergency Department. The hospital carries designations including Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, Maternal and Level III NICU. Nursing is progressing toward Pathways to Excellence with Magnet designation anticipated.

Qualifications

  • A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience
  • Valid Registered Nurse license
  • Ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 30 days of employment
