Job Description As a Marketing Lead at AstroForge, you will own every aspect of the company’s marketing efforts. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our brand presence across communications, social media, podcasts, merchandise, and more. This is a highly visible role where you will be both strategic and hands-on, shaping how AstroForge tells its story to the world. Responsibilities
Own AstroForge’s marketing strategy from end-to-end, including branding, digital, and content development. Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to ensure messaging is accurate, compelling, and aligned with company goals. Develop and manage social media presence across platforms with consistent, engaging content. Manage a company podcast featuring AstroForge’s work and the broader space community. Oversee AstroForge’s merchandise store and brand-aligned product launches. Build and maintain media relationships to drive coverage of AstroForge’s milestones and mission. Draft and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communications. Track marketing performance metrics and adjust strategy to maximize impact. Serve as the voice of AstroForge to both technical and non-technical audiences. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in marketing with at least 2+ years at a technical or engineering-driven company. Proven ability to independently create, execute, and measure marketing campaigns. Demonstrated ability to launch and grow branded podcasts, social channels, or merchandise lines. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment. Willingness to be hands-on in every aspect of marketing execution. Ability to work onsite in Seal Beach, CA. Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in aerospace, space, or other frontier technology industries. Track record of building media relationships that resulted in coverage for technical companies. Strong design sensibility and familiarity with creative tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva). Prior experience as a “first marketing hire” or in a small, high-growth startup environment.
