First Date of Posting: 9/26/2025 Last Date of Posting: 10/01/2025 Authority: OA / TA / MTA Bus Department: Regional Bus Company Division/Unit: Regional Operations Reports To: VP & Chief of Operations, Regional Bus Work Location: East New York Hours of Work: As required Compensation Salary Range: $122,958 - $174,060 (Grade A/890 Hay pts) Responsibilities This position is responsible for organizing and leading the strategic planning activities for the Office of the Vice President, Operations and all seven of the operating divisions. Oversees and provides executive directions to the AGM, Strategic Planners in order to Implement business changes and new initiatives that will achieve sustainable short and long-term operational improvements. Reviews business/administrative processes and develops effective solutions that promote the Buses as a Business culture. Directs the coordination of any new programs and/or policies with all concerned within Bus Operations. Analyzes operational performance data to identify any potential gains and creates a work plan to capitalize on those opportunities. Coordinates workforce development activities for non-represented employees within Bus Operations. Additional Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Organizes and leads strategic planning activities for the Office of VP, Operations and all seven of the operating divisions. Oversees/provides executive direction to the AGM, Strategic Planners in order to implement business changes and new initiatives that will achieve sustainable short and long-term operational improvements Reviews business and administrative processes to develop effective solutions that promote the Buses as a Business culture and improve the effectiveness of operational performance. Establishes objectives and priorities for operations and maintenance functions that are aligned with the BaaB mission. Directs the coordination of any new programs and/or policies with all concerned within Buses Operations. Enforce new strategic initiatives and ensure metrics are established for the analysis and effective implementation of change initiatives. Analyses performance data to identify operational improvements and work with the responsible department to establish operating/maintenance policies and procedures that address the issues identified. Institute metrics to measure the effectiveness of the change(s). Coordinates workforce development activities for non-represented employees within Bus Operations. Working with the divisional representatives - communicates job expectations; appraises job results; ensures performance evaluations are tied to established goals; and enforces consistency in administration of policies and procedures. Education and Experience 1. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or a related field and ten (10) years of full-time experience, at least five (5) of which must have been in a managerial/supervisory capacity. 2. A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience. Desired Skills

Knowledge of DOB operating policies and procedures. Knowledge of NYCT rules and regulations. In-depth knowledge of strategic planning and program development. Must have the ability to analyze problems, both short and long-term, and recommend and implement solutions. Excellent leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
