Overview As a contract attorney on U.S. Business and Franchising Team, this attorney will provide legal counsel and support to the Company's franchise function, helping to create and revise critical agreements in support of the company's relationship with its franchisees.

Assist in the preparation and completion of documentation for franchising restaurant franchise transactions, including helping to facilitate transactions between operators, sale of company-owned restaurants and acquisitions of owner/operator restaurants. Support the lawyers who have responsibility and ownership for the effective handling of legal matters for the Company's USA and key members of the U.S. leadership team. Work closely with various members of the Legal Department to ensure appropriate alignment, collaboration and consistency and to identify and implement best practices. Ability to interpret and apply franchise policies to individual situations and transactions, draft and manage a variety of agreements with careful attention to detail and provide pragmatic and effective legal advice that advances the objectives of the business. Qualifications
JD required 3-5 years of relevant legal experience MS Office Suite Transactional and/or franchise law experience (agreements) Strong technical expertise, including transactional experience, and knowledge of the US legal system and laws Strong people skills, including the ability to effectively influence others, and collaborate in a team environment Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals both inside and outside the company Strong results orientation to ensure business objectives are met and comply with all laws and regulations Specialty: Franchise Agreements/Leases/New Offers Benefits
