As a Director, Product Marketing on the Analytics Marketing team, you will be required to understand customer and market signals for our Analytics portfolio. You will compile and evaluate market intelligence to identify opportunities and define strategies for customer acquisition, adoption, and renewal of products. You will create deep collaboration and trusting relationships with customers, partners, and the field to understand customer needs and identify investment priorities. You will understand competitor strengths, weaknesses and Microsoft’s positioning. You will conduct win/loss analysis and anticipate the business implications and problems to be solved to reduce risk and ensure that Microsoft is ahead of the market and priority competitors. You will provide subject matter expertise when developing insights from market or user research, market analyses, and market and industry trends to influence Microsoft’s go-to-market strategies and support the creation of our differentiated value proposition that aligns with our customer and business goals.

Responsibilities
You will influence the long-term vision for a broad set of products, then distill that vision into a product roadmap. You’ll also proactively influence partners to deliver the right product experience, and clarify product changes.
You will collaborate with others to develop a value proposition aligned with customer goals, and drive the development of a messaging and positioning framework. You’ll also build a global bill of materials and consumer-facing presentations.
You will lead partnerships with multiple teams to develop go-to-market strategies, as well as teach others to identify target customers and execute strategy for customer journeys. You’ll also deliver sales enablement development, and support strategic business deals and partnerships.
You will build and execute marketing plans and act as a trusted advisor in partnerships delivering customer value, and drive programs across teams to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications: Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in business OR Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
5+ years experience in product marketing, product management, corporate strategy OR equivalent experience within large matrixed technology companies.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years marketing or sales experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
Product Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
