Overview

We are looking for an experienced SSRS/Power BI Report Developer to join our team in Cape Coral, Florida. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will leverage your expertise in reporting and data visualization to deliver actionable insights and high-quality solutions for business decision-making. This position demands technical proficiency and a collaborative mindset to translate complex requirements into effective reports and dashboards. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy dynamic reports using SSRS to meet business needs and user requirements. Create and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to manage data flow from diverse sources. Develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions to ensure the integrity and performance of report data. Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to present data in a meaningful and intuitive manner. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Perform performance tuning on reports, queries, and data models to enhance efficiency and scalability. Troubleshoot and maintain existing SSRS reports while implementing updates to adapt to evolving business demands. Ensure data accuracy and security by adhering to best practices in validation and access control. Document technical specifications, data models, and processes to facilitate ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing. Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers and analysts, to deliver integrated reporting solutions. Requirements

Advanced proficiency in SSRS for designing and deploying reports. Strong expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing database performance. Experience with SSIS for ETL process development and data integration. Demonstrated ability to create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and database design, including dimensional modeling. Proven skills in performance tuning for queries, reports, and data models. Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio for report and package development. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
